ZWARA RESTHOUSE

Architecture

A contemporary beach house defined by clean, minimal geometry and a serene material palette. Concrete planes, steel accents, and expansive glass surfaces shape a calm, modern aesthetic, while warm wood cladding and generous windows enhance the coastal atmosphere.

Description

This modern beach house is designed around a central swimming pool, which serves as the heart of the project and the primary organizing element for the architecture. Strong geometric volumes in concrete and steel establish a crisp, minimalist framework, while floor-to-ceiling glass opens every major space toward the pool, filling the interior with natural light and reinforcing the home’s seamless connection to the outdoors.

Warm wood cladding contrasts with the cool, modern materials, introducing texture and natural warmth that evoke a relaxed coastal character. The spatial layout is intentionally linear and open, guiding movement along the pool’s edge and ensuring that views of water, sky, and landscape are always present. Carefully integrated planting and refined outdoor spaces soften the architectural lines, grounding the structure in its beachside environment.

The result is a tranquil coastal retreat where modern geometry, honest materials, and nature come together—unified by the shimmering presence of the pool at the center of the design.
