Architecture

This modern beach house features bold, minimal volumes stacked in opposite directions to create natural shade. The lower mass is split to form two private living zones and a narrow landscaped corridor with protected side entrances.

Description

This project is shaped by clean, modern geometry, using two strong volumes arranged in opposite directions to create shaded outdoor areas and a distinctive architectural identity. The lower mass is divided to provide privacy for two separate living zones, while a slim landscaped corridor between them introduces greenery and discreet side entrances that enhance circulation and comfort.

The upper volume, containing the bedrooms, serves as the highlight of the design. Wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass, it captures unobstructed beach views, while vertical wooden shutters provide full privacy and filtered shade without interrupting the scenery. This combination of openness and protection adds warmth and texture to the minimalist form.

At ground level, the home extends into a carefully designed outdoor environment that includes a swimming pool, a fully equipped BBQ kitchen, a dining area, and multiple seating spaces—creating a relaxed, functional setting for coastal living. Together, these elements unite the refined geometry with a vibrant outdoor lifestyle, resulting in a contemporary beach house that is both simple and richly connected to its surroundings.
